With snowdrops pushing up through the white stuff around Albany, spring must be getting near. So it is time for many of us, and we hope for you, to start planning to produce spring-fresh tastes in your yard and to add color around your home. The Vegetable Project can help you make this happen at the same time that you support the Vegetable Project.
The Vegetable Project is once again teaming up with Vermont-based High Mowing Organic Seeds to offer you vegetable and flower seeds for your garden. It is our biggest selection of seeds yet. So we hope you will take a look at what is available. Each purchase helps the Vegetable Project create hands-on teaching and learning opportunities in Albany schools, by providing us with funds for supplies, tools and equipment, as we receive a portion of the proceeds. All the seeds are organic and free of genetically modified organisms, which we think is important.
The sale runs through Tuesday, March 21, ensuring that you will have your seeds in time for the coming season’s planting. You can view our offering and place orders online, thanks to farmraiser.com, which supports fundraisers featuring healthy eating and local products.
Or if you would rather do business on paper, perhaps so that you can pay us with cash or a check, or maybe so you can invite friends and family go in on an order with you, that’s okay, too. Please click here for a printable brochure describing what we are offering. And then print an order form. Please get orders to us by Friday, March 17, so we can complete necessary handling.
Happy gardening. And please help us spread word about this great offer.
